// about
From Jamshedpur to Bengaluru, one accepted submission at a time.
I grew up in Jamshedpur and found programming the competitive way - at BIT Mesra, staying up for Codeforces rounds until I hit Candidate Master, made ICPC Asia regionals twice, and ended up on the other side of the table setting problems for HackerEarth and CodeChef.
That habit of thinking in constraints - time limits, memory limits, worst cases - is what I bring to backend work. At Walmart Global Tech it was order management for US e-commerce; at Observe.AI, a pipeline processing 5M+ calls a day with zero downtime. Today I'm at Media.net, working on ad-auction throughput and bid quality, where a few percent of CPU is real money.
I like systems that are boring in production: idempotent, observable, rate-limited, and easy to reason about at 3am. Lately I've also been building with LLMs and RAG on the side.
Off-screen, you'll find me on a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 somewhere far from the city, trekking in the Himalayas, on a badminton court or at a table-tennis table, under a barbell, or losing (occasionally winning) a game of 7 Wonders Duel. Studio Ghibli films are the comfort watch.
